What EasyPrep is
EasyPrep UCAT is a complete preparation course for the UCAT (ANZ), 2026 cycle onwards: 1,220+ original questions across 33 teaching chapters, four full timed mocks, and a printable companion, all in a self-contained interactive file that runs fully offline. It's built for the current four-subtest exam (Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning and Situational Judgement) after Abstract Reasoning was retired in 2025.
Why it exists
Most question banks tell you the right answer and move on. That teaches you the topic, but the UCAT tests something else. The UCAT is engineered so the wrong options feel right under time pressure: a plausible misread, a half-finished calculation, an answer to a question that wasn't quite asked. EasyPrep tags every one of those traps with a repeatable code, so instead of grinding through questions you learn the much shorter list of recurring mistakes and stop repeating them.

The story behind it
I sat the UCAT myself. The exam was hard. It's built to be. But the hardest part of preparing wasn't verbal reasoning or decision making. It was the meter that never stopped running.
When you're preparing for the UCAT, practice questions are oxygen. Every skill the exam demands is built from repetition: the pacing, the pattern-spotting, the calm under a clock. My biggest barrier was never understanding the material. It was access to it. The practice I needed sat behind subscriptions charging $15 or $20 a week, every week, indefinitely. So preparation became a second exam nobody talks about: deciding whether another mock was worth another week's bill, rationing questions as if they were paid for by the page. Because they were.
Later, in my clinical degree, I learned I hadn't been alone in that. Most of my cohort had come through the same exam, and in every friend group the story repeated itself: the material cost too much, the tutoring cost more, and the price of simply being allowed to keep practising shaped how ready people could afford to be. Here's what outsiders miss about the UCAT: it isn't a cram. People prepare for two or three years at minimum. Some carry it for five, through school, through gap years, through second attempts. Multiply a weekly subscription across those years and it quietly becomes the single most expensive part of chasing one of the hardest exams there is. A tax on persistence itself, landing on people too young to have an income.
That always felt backwards to me. The exam is meant to test who you'd be as a clinician, not how long your family can fund a billing cycle. What all of us needed back then was common ground and freedom: material that is simply yours, studied at whatever pace your life allows, with no clock running except the one on the mock.
